New Parishioners
People come to checkout St. Joseph. They have such a good experience of welcome and the prayerfulness of the parish. As our liturgy committee prepares to recruit ministers of hospitality, we are reminded of the words of Jesus "I was a stranger and you welcomed me."
Families from neighboring parishes have registered here and been amazed at how easy we make things. It has always been part of my philosophy to put people before paperwork. The best way to feel at home is to get involved. Excitement over the Parish Activity Center is growing.

You get some of the credit for this "winning over," Padre, because it's a trickle-down effect. You prioritize the people and their experience, and we all take the lead from you. The family here is amazing, and I only need to be in an out-of-sorts kind of day when I go to weekend Mass to be snapped out. :)
I have to agree with Sarah. We were attending mass at St. Joe's once a month from 2000 until summer 2004 when we moved to PC. Our decision to move to PC was not only because of the community but because of the church. We always felt welcome at St. Joe's, never intimidated. The environment at St. Joe's played a big role in my decision to become Catholic and enter this church this past Easter.
