I just got a preview of the VBS program for this year. WOW! Our theme will be Saints Alive. The planned activities, crafts and classes are far beyond what we done in the past. Do not miss this opportunity.

I was ordained a priest in 1975. I have served as an assistant pastor, pastor, military chaplain, prison chaplain, and a hospital chaplain. I have celebrated Mass on six of the seven continents, including at the South Pole.

From what I've seen so far this year, the VBS has been awesome! :-)
To be honest though, I think the theme song is a little hard to follow, especially for the little ones.
Overall, however, I think it has been wonderful! Kudos to the VBS planners and volunteers!

Our goal was to create a memorable catholic experience that the children will cherish and provide opportunities for the children to develop and nurture the relationship(s) with their catholic friends. This indirectly takes us one step closer to God. I hope that we were able to accomplish these two goals.
The volunteers did an awesome job! They sacrificed a lot of their family time to make this event happen. It was certainly team work at its best!
Certainly we welcome any feedback anyone has, positive or negative. Don't be shy. Any feedback will only help us do a better job next time around. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)
