Giving for Mission

The Bible requires a ten percent tithe in thanksgiving for all God has done. The Church uses it for the sake of mission, namely continuing God's work. When we "short change" our offering, the Church is handicapped in its efforts to promote the Kingdom of God. We spend a lot of time in fund raisers that should be spent in mission. If the pastor is always worried about money to run the parish, then he is not free to minister as he should be.

The first reason to give is THANKSGIVING.
The second reason to give is FULFILLING THE POTENTIAL OF OUR MISSION
