Let's pray that we get some volunteers to fill these needed positions. Now that Folk Choir practice is staying with Thursday evenings for now, I can probably help out as a Teacher's Aide on Wednesday evenings. I'll let Heidi know.

One more thing, I'm not sure why they moved the class time up to 6:30 instead of 7:00. That's going to be really cutting it close for me with my work schedule. I'm not complaining though, just stating a fact. However, Wednesdays will still be a better choice for my affected children for now than Sunday morings.

I believe the time was moved so that things didn't get too late for the children, especially the younger ones.

As we move forward as a parish, I hope that everyone will keep an open mind and know that Father has the best interest of the parish in mind. It is our job to fully support him and work together to make everything happen. There will be a lot of changes. This is an opportunity for us to get involve and help shape our future. I hope that everyone will make a concerted effort and respect the needs of everyone. I know it's very difficult to see past our own personal needs, but we are one family. Compromise can be difficult sometimes, but it's not impossible and it's not always bad. God works in mysterious ways and sometimes we fail to see the big picture and get lost in our own little world. I think it's a very exciting time to be a part of St. Joe. Let's embrace the future!

I like what anonymous said about the big picture. Good job. I just hope that there are enough volunteers. The point was made that it has been hard finding enough volunteers to teach as it is. Let's pray that more volunteers step forward (if it is in their calling to teach God's word).

Personally, I would like to thank Heidi for the outstanding job she has done with Religious Education for St. Joseph over the years. She has gone the extra mile to make sure that the diocesan guidelines are met (which is very important); to make children feel part of a loving and supportive community; and, she is a very valuable asset to the parish. Heidi we all love you.

Have a great evening! :-)

I'd say "Amen" to Paula's last comments. Many people have made St. Joseph a great place to be. Heidi has been a real asset for many years.
